Performance Management

All nursing staff participate in a performance management program that incorporates regular feedback, standards, goals and professional development.

Our company uses a customer feedback database to monitor the level of service provided to both nurse and facility and information is collated and used to assess ongoing performance issues and identify risk areas.

The performance plan is a framework that identifies individual objectives and training opportunities within the scope of relevant job descriptions.

Performance planning discussion aims at improving skills, job performance and job satisfaction. Performance planning discussion/evaluation will be confidential between employee and management.

Staff Training

Through Australian Nursing Federation we offer continuing professional education online courses in line with requirements for nursing registration. We encourage our nurses to undertake other courses such as Asthma Management, Advance Life Support plus many more, to expand on their industry knowledge.

Site Visits

Achieving the safe placement of an on-hired worker presents OH&S situations that are distinctive to the labour hire industry. Along with the general OH&S duties of an employer, our agency also takes the following actions for nursing placement:
  1. Assess future placement.
  2. Providing a safe work environment.
Workcover legislation requires Allstaff Nursing Services to conduct OH&S site visits to ensure that our healthcare employees are placed in a safe working environment and full detailed records of these visits are maintained. Known high risk industries are likely to require more frequent monitoring.
